Vivian C. Condon, 81, of Clearfield died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Jan. 3, 1932, the daughter of George and Jean (Schucker) Curtis.
She was a homemaker and loved to crochet for her family and friends. She was Methodist by faith.
She’s survived by seven children, Elizabeth Franek of Olanta; William Condon and his wife, Janet of Mineral Springs; Jacqueline McGhee and her husband, Samuel, Leland Condon and his wife, Sandee, Peggy Larson and her husband, David of and Christopher Condon, all of Clearfield; and Vivian Marie Johnson and her husband, Jim of Philipsburg.
Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren and one sister, Carol Curtis of Las Vegas, NV.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William C. Condon, whom she married March 17, 1950 and who died July 8, 1983; a son, Ronald Condon in 1986; a daughter, Rheba Williams in 2011; two grandsons, Andy Johnson in 1979 and Erik Larson in 2002; two brothers, Alfred and Donald Curtis and a son-in-law, Steven Franek in 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor George W. Solley officiating. Burial will in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the services Monday at the funeral home.
