Ruth I. Ifversen, 85, of Grampian died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois. She was born April 5, 1928, in Burnside, the daughter of Smith and Bertha (Bee) Chapman.
Mrs. Ifversen was a homemaker. She was Protestant by faith.
She’s survived by two sons, David Ifversen and his wife, Ruth of Wellington, NV and Mark Ifversen and his wife, Angie of Pittsburgh; a grandson, Mark Ifversen; and a sister, Betty Turner of South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irving W. “Bill” Ifversen, who died April 18, 1992; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Honoring Mrs. Ifversens’ wishes, there will no public visitation.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. John F. White officiating. Burial will be in the Burnside Cemetery.
