Obituary Notice: Anthony “Tony” D. Georgino

Anthony “Tony” D. Georgino, 65, of DuBois and formerly of Tyler died Monday, April 15, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Born Feb. 25, 1948 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Patsy and Jennie (Guido) Georgino.

He graduated from DuBois Area High School and attended Kiski Prep and the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  He was one of the former owners of Georgino Industrial Supply, where he worked all of his life.

He was a resident of Christ the King Personal Care Unit for the past five years, and was Catholic by faith. He was kind and well-loved person.  He enjoyed his family, sports, playing cards, and watching the cooking channel.

He is survived by three sisters, JoAnn Zartman and her husband, Les of DuBois, Christina Caruso of Penfield and Carmella Menke and her husband, William of Grants Pass, OR, his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Georgino of Penfield and Betty Georgino of St. Marys; 16 nieces and nephews, 20 great-nieces and nephews and five great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald C. Georgino and his wife, Mary and Richard A. Georgino and Patsy F. Georgino; a niece, JoAnn Caliari and a brother-in-law, Rob Caruso.

Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel at Christ the King Manor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, at the Chapel at Christ the King Manor with Fr. John Chaplin as celebrant.

Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
