Sara Ann Luzier, 70, formerly of Clearfield most recently of Chambersburg died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Falling Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg. She was born May 13, 1942 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Alfred John and Sara J. (Jordan) Luzier.

She was a graduate of the Clearfield Area High School in the class of 1960 and the Altoona School of Commerce. She had been a housekeeper for Ned and Katherine Schuck of Clearfield. She retired from Kurtz Bros. after 32 years of service as a data entry clerk. She was member of the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and was a Sunday school teacher.

She’s survived by two sons, Adam w. Luzier and his wife, Elizabeth of Chambersburg and Craig L. Luzier and his wife, Karen of Fayetteville, four grandchildren, Samantha Luzier, Benjamin Luzier, Amanda Luzier and Addison Luzier, and six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are five brothers and two sisters, John E. Luzier and his wife, Marilyn and Alfred Dan Luzier, all of Clearfield, Nancy Gingras and her husband, Richard of Worcester, MA, William R. Luzier and his wife, Linda of Newton, KS, Helen Jane Dixon and her husband, Elroy of Morrisdale and Thomas A. Luzier and his wife, Colleen and Dennis C. Luzier and his wife, Carol, all of West Decatur, a sister-in-law, Joelene Luzier of Clearfield and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sheridan D. Luzier.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with the Rev. Mark Brower officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.  Friends will be received from 6 p.m. -8 p.m. Monday and from 12 p.m. until the hour of the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
