Anna Mae (Smith) Hillman, 88, of Westerville, OH and formerly of Smithmill died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Sandra Gene Brunton, in Westerville, OH.
Mrs. Hillman was born April 15, 1924 at Smithmill, a daughter of the late William M. and Anna H. (Paterson) Smith.
She was a 1942 graduate of the former Madera High School and retired as a test welder from General Electric, Cleveland plant. She also worked at the former Sylvania Plant in Houtzdale and Altoona.
Mrs. Hillman is survived by a daughter, Sandra Gene Brunton and her husband, Denny of Westerville, OH; three grandchildren, Jason Brunton and Alison Brunton, both of Westerville, OH and Katie Brunton of Big Sur, CA, a great-granddaughter, Ember Brunton and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hillman was preceded in death by three sisters, Ellen Lebda and infant sisters, Georgieanna and Ruth Margaret, a brother, William Smith and a niece, Mary Ellen Socoski.
Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc. Madera.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Ford officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, Ansonville.
