State Police Investigating Fatal Accident in Decatur Twp. Involving Motorcycle

DECATUR TOWNSHIP – The Clearfield-based state police are continuing their investigation into a fatal accident that occurred at 9:45 a.m. Monday along U.S. Route 322 in the area of the American Diner in Decatur Township.

Kasper Anthony, 84, of Wellsville, NY was traveling westbound and turned left across the eastbound lane. He turned directly in front of a motorcycle operated by a 59-year-old man. The motorcyclist was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither Anthony nor his passenger was injured. Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
