- An incident of retail theft occurred Saturday at Ike’s Gas Station in Cooper Township. Someone stole 11.802 gallons of unleaded gasoline and fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police responded to the Houtzdale Rails to Trails on Saturday for an 18-year-old Houtzdale man who was in possession of a firearm in public. Upon arrival he fled on foot into a wooded area near Ida Street. The man was later located hiding under a trailer and apprehended. He had disposed of the firearm when he initially fled from state police; however, it was recovered and being held at the Clearfield barracks. The man was under the influence of drugs and placed in the Clearfield County Jail. Charges are being filed through the district court.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday on Dinky Road in Decatur Township. Someone threw eggs at a Philipsburg woman’s residence and fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
