Family Safety Day set for April 25

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State Environmental Health and Safety is planning a fun-filled morning of safety-related activities from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in front of the Bryce Jordan Center. Family Safety Day, being held as part of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work day at the University, is free and open to the public.

Activities will include hands-on experience with a fire extinguisher, hands-on training with an AED device (an electronic defibrillator), a smoke trailer used to simulate a smoke-filled room, the safety calendar competition and electrical safety demonstrations.
