The dental discount program has been available since September of 2012. Recent monthly usage data shows that there are currently 57 residents who have enrolled in the program.
The dental discount program requires an annual enrollment fee of $59 per individual or $69 per family. However, once enrolled, individuals will observe typical savings of: 51 percent on periodic oral evaluation; 47 percent on prophylaxis-Adult (light); 49 percent on prophylaxis-child; and 53 percent on amalgam-three surface, primary or permanent, in addition to a 20 percent discount on comprehensive orthodontic treatment of adolescent dentition.
Several dentists participate in Clearfield County and accept the NACo Dental Discount card. It’s also accepted by additional dentists throughout central Pennsylvania. For more information on the dental discount program and for listings of participating dentists, please click here.
The NACo prescription discount program has been available in Clearfield County since March of 2007. Since then, the program has been utilized 33,637 times. In addition, individuals averaged a savings of $14.51 per prescription, which correlates into a total savings of more than $488,000.
Usage figures released for February show that 165 individuals had 326 prescriptions filled for a total savings of $7,365. The NACo prescription discount program cards are available at no cost to county residents. For more information, including participating pharmacies, please click here.
