- Cody A. Golding, 21, of Munson sustained moderate injuries after a single-vehicle accident Sunday on Hardscrabble Road in Morris Township. He was traveling southbound when his vehicle crossed the yellow line into the northbound lane and then impacted a tree. Golding wasn’t wearing his seatbelt and was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment. State police were assisted by the Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services, the Morris Township Fire Department and towing services. Golding be cited for the accident.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Saturday on Sylvan Grove Road in Cooper Township. Someone used a paint gun and shot a Morrisdale man’s 1997 Ford Mustang. Damage is estimated at approximately $200. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident Friday on Main Street in Bigler Township. Jeremy M. Clancy, 19, of Houtzdale was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle. It crossed the centerlines, traveled onto the east berm and struck the guide rails with its driver’s side. At that point, the Clancy vehicle traveled back across the centerline and struck an embankment. Neither Clancy nor his two passengers was injured in the accident; all three were wearing their seatbelts. Clancy will be cited for careless driving.
