Obituary Notice: Victor A. D’Angelo

Victor A. D’Angelo, 75, of DuBois died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at his residence.

Born Jan. 22, 1938 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William and Lyda (Cavalier) D’Angelo. On June 2, 1962, he married Janet (Fisher) D’Angelo. She survives.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired as the store manager of Sherwin Williams in DuBois after 33 years of service.

He was the past president of the DuBois Lions Club and a past member of the DuBois Salvation Army Board of Directors. He was a former pastor of Restoration House in DuBois. He loved to garden, hunt and fish.

He is survived by his daughter, Beth Johnson and her husband, Charles of DuBois; a son, Michael D’Angelo and his wife, Lynn of Tyrone; three brothers, Edward D’Angelo of New Middletown, OH and Richard D’Angelo and Dennis D’Angelo, both of Ellwood City; a sister, Jeanine Junker of Marlton, NJ; and four grandchildren, Lauren and Alec Johnson and Noah and Riley D’Angelo.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Courtney Johnson.
There will be no public visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorials may be placed with the Salvation Army, 119 S. Jared St., DuBois, PA 15801, and or DRMC Hospice, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
