CLEARFIELD – On April 6, the Clearfield YMCA will host an “Evening of Stand-up Comedy” at the St. Charles Café in Clearfield. Performing will be Dan Brown of Cleveland and Alan Marx from Philadelphia.
The feature performer, Brown, although a fairly new comic was voted the funniest, clean comedian in Ohio. He works at the prestigious Cleveland Improv Comedy Club and does shows throughout the Midwest.
The headliner, Alan Marx, is a very original comic with a unique, storytelling style. He instantly wins you over with his outgoing, laughing delivery. He was the creator and host of “Headlining Tonight with Alan Marx” for The Improv Channel. He has appeared on the Ricki Lake Show and is a regular at many comedy clubs and appears often at the Tropicana Resorts in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the comedians will perform at 8 p.m. The comedy event is for adults only. Admission is $25 per person and includes finger foods, a few refreshments and a night of comedy. The comedy event benefits the Clearfield YMCA.
