- On Tuesday, Northwest Savings Bank employees reported to state police that several windows were broken on a bank-owned property on Banion Road in Bigler Township. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- On Tuesday, an Irvona man reported that a vehicle on his property was spray painted with smiley faces. Further investigation revealed that two, known juveniles were responsible for the incident. Charges are being filed through the district court.
- No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday on state Route 53 in Bigler Township. Charles T. Poole, 42, of Madera was traveling northbound and negotiating a right-hand curve in the roadway. He lost control of his vehicle, which caused it to exit the right side of the roadway and strike an embankment. After impact his vehicle went across the roadway and struck the guiderail along the left berm. Poole was wearing his seatbelt; he wasn’t injured. His vehicle sustained severe damage to its left, front area, as well as minor damage to the left, rear corner. Poole was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
