- A 25-year-old DuBois man lost control of his vehicle while he was traveling Friday on Maple Avenue in the area of 10th Street. When the vehicle ahead stopped suddenly, the man veered off the roadway to avoid impact. His vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
- A false alarm occurred Friday at the Tan Zone.
- A 28-year-old Reynoldsville woman pulled out of a driveway on First Street and into the path of a police car, almost causing a collision on Saturday. Police pulled the woman over and after she failed several field sobriety tests, she was transported for a legal blood draw. Charges are currently pending.
- A 32-year-old Falls Creek man lost control of his vehicle while he was traveling Saturday on Gamelands Road. His vehicle struck a tree. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
- A 44-year-old Central Christian Road woman reported Saturday that her neighbor was plowing his driveway and putting the snow in her driveway. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Saturday, a Punxsutawney man was observed on video by Wal-Mart employees, pushing a cart of merchandise, which totaled $340.58, out of the store without paying for it. Charges are currently pending.
- On Saturday, Treasure Lake Security reported that someone spray painted obscenities on a real estate for sale sign in Treasure Lake.
- A 55-year-old Punxsutawney woman slowed down when she came upon deer on Sykes Street Extension. However, she could not avoid hitting one, causing her to come to an abrupt stop. A vehicle behind her driven by a 39-year-old Penfield woman could not stop in time to avoid striking her vehicle, causing severe damage to her own vehicle and causing it to drift backward and off the roadway into the woods. Minor injuries were reported.
- A false alarm occurred Sunday at United Electric.
- A 19-year-old Reynoldsville man was driving at an unsafe speed Sunday when he was unable to negotiate a curve on Platt Road, causing his vehicle to travel off the roadway and come to rest in a swamp. No injuries were reported and once it was pulled from the swamp, the vehicle was driven from the scene.
