Penn State (10-21; 2-16 Big Ten) jumped out to an early 14-3 lead, but couldn’t withstand 64 percent shooting from No. 6 Michigan (26-6; 12-6 Big Ten) in the second half as the Wolverines pulled away for an 83-66 victory in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament in Chicago that saw a sold-out crowd of 19,470 fill the United Center.
