Spring Dining Out Club Booklets to be Available

CLEARFIELD – Dining Out Club coupon booklets will become available to county residents 50 and older beginning March 11.  Shown displaying the booklets at the Clearfield Center for Active Living are Center RSVP volunteers Mary Ellen and Irvine McCaulsky and Arden (Ed) and Carol Owens.

The booklet features 12 weeks of discount coupons to 12 area restaurants: Aunt Lu’s Café, Billy’s Burger Land, Dairy Queen of Clearfield, Dutch Pantry, Express Café, and Hedges Fine Food & Spirits.  Additionally included are Old Town Road Dairy, Pizza Hut of Clearfield, Quickies Pizza, Subs & More, Sid’s Super Submarines, Spanky’s Courthouse Café, as well as this season’s newcomer, Fun Central Restaurant.  The discount program will begin March 18 with OTR Dairy, and will conclude June 7 with Pizza Hut of Clearfield.

A survey has been included in the booklet for the first time in order to continue improving the Dining Out Club program.  Those submitting surveys to the Clearfield Center for Active Living by June 13 will be entered into the June 14 drawing for prizes donated by participating restaurants.

The booklets are available free to residents 50 and over and may be picked up at the Center beginning Monday, March 11.  The center is open 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. weekdays, and is located in the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging building at 103 N. Front St. in Clearfield.
