Obituary Notice: Lorraine Cantolina Lamb

Lorraine Cantolina Lamb, 67, of Hawk Run died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born Oct. 11, 1945 at her residence in Oak Grove, she was the daughter of the late John Cantolina and Mary (Villella) Cantolina. She was a member of the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Morrisdale.

She graduated from the West Branch High School in 1963.

She wed the late Thomas J. Lamb on April 7, 1966 in Kylertown.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony and James Cantolina and four sisters, Angelina Grogan, Patricia Lefebvre, Constance George and Mary Louise Francisko.

She’s survived by her sons, Thomas J. Lamb III and his wife, Deb of Morrisdale and their son, Jesse and great-grandson, Tommy IV; William J. Lamb and his wife, Cyndi of Morrisdale and their children, William Jr., Lynda and Kaleb and great-grandson, Damien; Nicholas J. Lamb and his wife, Jen of Morrisdale and their children, Kurtis, Gabriella and Emily; Michael Lamb and his wife, Shanna of Philipsburg and their children, Zaston and Zaine; and David J. Lamb and his wife, Lottie of Philipsburg and their children, Adam, Amanda and Tashonna and great-grandsons, JJ and Emory.

Also surviving are two brothers, John Cantolina and his wife, Grace and Paul Cantolina, all of Morrisdale; one sister, Grace Coble of Detroit, MI; and a brother-in-law, Steven Francisko; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with the Father Joseph P. Staszcwski officiating. The Rosary will be recited at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and a luncheon will follow at the Morrisdale Recreation Center.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
