- An incident of theft occurred sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. Feb. 20 on Deer Creek Road in Morris Township. Someone stole a 49-year-old Morrisdale man’s 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck. The truck was recovered after being wrecked; it was valued at $10,000. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between 12 p.m. Jan. 27 and 12 p.m. Wednesday on Twoey Hollow Road in Boggs Township. Someone stole 750 feet of neutral copper cable from United Electric of DuBois. The cable is valued at $1,800.
- No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday on the Woodland – Bigler Highway at Kephart Trucking in Bradford Township. A Peterbilt truck operated by Paul E. Sayers, 40, of Kennerdell slowed for traffic, and Scott A. Milligan, 41, of Curwensville failed to observe this. The Milligan vehicle rear-ended Sayers’ truck. Both Sayers and Milligan were wearing their seatbelts.
- Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 7 a.m. Wednesday on the Shawville – Croft Highway in Goshen Township. Eustace S. Moustacalis, 61, of Clearfield was traveling eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree. She sustained minor injuries. Moustacalis was wearing her seatbelt.
