Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 153 in Woodward Township. A 17-year-old Houtzdale boy was traveling northbound and lost control of his vehicle on the icy roadway. His vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. The boy and his passenger, a 16-year-old Morann boy, both sustained minor injuries. Both were wearing their seatbelts. State police were assisted by the Houtzdale Fire Company.
