On Monday, 17 students of Clearfield Area High School were inducted as new members into Delta Epsilon Phi, the National German Honor Society, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of German.
Requirements for membership include an A average in German, a B cumulative average in all other subjects, and a clean record of conduct. Mrs. Barbara Simpson is the advisor of the honor society and German teacher at the high school.

Special Honors
At the induction ceremony for the National German Honor Society, sophomore students Sadie Hubler, Gavin Luzier and Olivia Smith received the “Award of Excellence” for maintaining the highest average in German after three semesters.
Each of the three students has a 100 percent average.
