- No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 20 on the Philipsburg – Bigler Highway in Decatur Township. William I. Armstrong, 67, of Clearfield was traveling eastbound when he swerved left to avoid striking the rear of another vehicle that was turning right ahead of him. Upon doing so, his vehicle exited the left side of the roadway and struck several objects. Armstrong was wearing his seatbelt. His vehicle sustained moderate damage. He’ll be cited for the accident.
- Sometime between Saturday and Monday, someone scattered nails in a Wallaceton woman’s driveway.
