Judith A. Holt, 74, of New Millport died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital. She was born July 29, 1938, in Clearfield, the daughter of Thomas and Helen (Collar) Jordan.
In 1980, she was employed at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She graduated from the Clearfield County Vo-Tech Nursing Academy as a licensed practical Nurse in 1986 and continued working at the center until her retirement in 2004.
She’s survived by her five children, Leslie A. Holt Fontenoy of Kerrmoor, James Holt and his fiancé, Carrieann of New Millport, Lester A. Holt Jr. of Clearfield, Robert A. Holt and his wife, Holly of Curwensville and John T. Holt and his wife, Amy M. of Bells Landing.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Daniel Holt, Caitlin Holt, Curtis Fontenoy and Addison Holt; two sisters and three brothers, Jane Porzio and Rodney Jordan and his wife, Judy, all of Curwensville, Joy Leigey and her husband, Elmer of Lancaster, Thomas Jordan and his wife, Nancy of Morrisdale and John Jordan and his wife, Phyllis, of Woodland. She is also survived by her children’s father, Lester A. Holt Sr. of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Barbara Owens, Jo Ann Livergood, Sandra “Kay” Jones and Carol Gendreau.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with Mr. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the services Saturday at the funeral home.
