- An incident of DUI occurred at 7:38 p.m. Monday along state Route 53 near New Liberty Road in Decatur Township. A 52-year-old Philipsburg man was observed committing several traffic violations. Upon making contact with him, state police discovered he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody for DUI, and he’s facing charges for the same as well as multiple summary violations. A passenger had multiple bench warrants out of Clearfield County and one in Centre County. He was taken into custody and lodged at the CCJ.
- An incident of DUI occurred at 2:34 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Presqueisle and Front streets in Philipsburg Borough for which a 27-year-old Philipsburg man was arrested.
- A drug violation occurred at 7:41 p.m. Monday on Interstate 99 at mile marker 57.8 in Taylor Township. A 21-year-old Altoona man was arrested during the course of a traffic stop after a search turned up a wooden pipe with suspected marijuana residue and a small, clear baggie of suspected marijuana. Charges will be filed through the district court.
