Michael Allen Maines, 47, of Clearfield died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at his home. He was the son of Ruth M. (Wisor) McGovern of Hawk Run and the late Harold E. Maines, born Jan. 30, 1966 in Philipsburg.
Mr. Maines was of the Christian faith.
He had been a machinist for Valves of Pittsburgh and received his GED.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David L. Maines and Mark McGovern and his grandmother, Mary I. Wisor.
Along with his mother, Mr. Maines is survived by a sister, Betty I. Bumbarger and her companion, John Bailey of Reynoldsville; a brother, Duane S. Maines of Woodland; nieces and nephews, Heather, Robby, Cheyenne, Paul, Leslie, Ethan, Brandon, Bradley, Adam and Jacob; and a sister-in-law, Darlene Maines.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Cavalry Church of God in Mineral Springs, with Pastor Sam Maines officiating. There will be no viewing.
Heath Funeral Home of Osceola Mills is in charge of arrangements.
