Eva M. Keller, 85, of Little Genesee, NY and formerly of DuBois died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 6, 1927 in Dubois, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Bertha (Kessler) Lyons. On Feb. 22, 1946, she married John E. Keller Jr. He preceded her in death in 1978.
She retired from the Brockway Glass Company. She was a member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17 Auxiliary and a past member of the auxiliary of the Falls Creek Eagles. She loved to quilt and knit. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards and riding horses. She loved to spend her winter in Lake Alford, FL.
She is survived by her son, Stephen B. Keller Sr. and his wife, Mary Anne of DuBois; two grandchildren, Laura M. Pentz and Stephen B. Keller Jr., both of Curwensville; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew, Anthony and Alec Starr and Jilissa, Janelle, Jacob and Jocelyn Keller. She is also survived by Paul Geschwender of Little Genesee, NY, with whom she made her home.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by her two sisters and five brothers.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
