- A disturbance occurred at approximately 12:10 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West Long Avenue. Upon arrival police determined a verbal altercation had occurred among multiple females. Police separated the females without any further altercations.
- A vehicle accident occurred at 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Shaffer Avenue. Upon arrival police observed a vehicle off the roadway that had struck a utility pole. Police approached the vehicle and didn’t locate any occupants inside it. The vehicle had been severely damaged and the utility pole snapped off at its base. Electrical lines came off the pole and created a hazard. Police were assisted at the scene by the DuBois City Fire Department and Penelec. Police made contact with the operator who was a juvenile. The juvenile will be cited for leaving the scene of an accident and multiple other traffic violations.
- At approximately 5:46 a.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Pifer Street, where a female was pounding on the door and asking to be let inside. Upon police arrival, they made contact with the female who was extremely intoxicated and not wearing any shoes. The female told police she last remembered being at the bar. She wasn’t certain how she had arrived at the residence without any shoes. The female was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center – West for medical treatment. The incident remains under investigation.
