Margaret “Peggy” Kougher, 90, of DuBois died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Aug. 6, 1922 in Paisley, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Kilow) McFaul.
On July 9, 1946, she married Samuel F. Kougher. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kougher was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Maureen Howell and her husband, David of Falls Creek; three sisters, Anna Pye of Ireland, Patricia Mara of Scotland and Eileen Crowe of England; a brother, John McFaul of Scotland; two grandchildren, Dustin (Michelle) Horchen and Ryan (Wendy) Horchen, both of DuBois; and one great-grandchild, Maura Horchen.
She was preceded in death by her son, Sutton Kougher; two brothers, Desmond McFaul and William McFaul; and one sister, Maureen Roser.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor David Nagele officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakelawn Memorial Park in Reynoldsville.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
