When the outside temperature drops as it has this week, exposure to the cold weather can cause many health problems, from frostbite to heart attack. In this video, Dr. Christopher DeFlitch, an emergency physician at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, talks about the risks of cold weather exposure and offers some tips for preventing and safely treating common winter weather-related problems, including frost bite of the extremities and hypothermia.
