ALTOONA – The Beza Project, operated by Penn State Altoona Enactus students, is partnering with the Tea Merchant, 101, located in Duncansville, to sell unique African-style mugs. Proceeds will support economic development and higher education in Rwanda, Africa.
Beza’s mission is to help support vulnerable children, expand opportunities for disadvantaged women, and rebuild lives in Rwanda destroyed by genocide nearly two decades ago. The genocide resulted in almost 50,000 widows in need of economic hope. Beza and Tea Merchant, 101 are eager to partner and help benefit sustainability in the country.
