Michael Wilson Royer, 67 of DuBois died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at his home. Born Feb. 26, 1945, he was the son of Gerald M. and Nancy (Desalve) Royer.
Mr. Royer had retired from Dominion Gas.
He is survived by his wife, Lola M. (Fletcher) Royer, whom he married Aug. 15 1965; three sons, David M. Royer, Mark A. Royer and his wife, Gina and Gerald M. Royer, all of DuBois; seven grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda R. Coder-Heatherdale and her husband, George of Treasure Lake.
Mr. Royer was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Narrows Creek Church, with the Rev. William Narehood officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday at the church.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 119 South Jared St., DuBois, PA 15801.
