Peggy S. (Rodgers) Bailey, 54, of Clearfield went to be with Jesus on
Monday, Dec. 17, 2012. She died at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
Born Nov. 7, 1958 in Spangler, she was the daughter of William S. and Judith
(Bennett) Rodgers. She attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Clearfield.
She donated much of her time to several charitable causes and to her church over the years.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Bailey of Clearfield; her parents of
Punxsutawney; two sons, Jason Douthit, Daniel Bailey and his companion, Kelly Krause; and a daughter, Lyndi Bailey, all of Clearfield; three grandchildren, Rodger Bailey, Landen Clark and Lily Bailey; and a sister, Cindy Mauk and her husband, Charles K. of Punxsutawney. She also had a special Aunt Joyce Berry of Clearfield and her best friend, Pam Hull.
A memorial service for Mrs. Bailey will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 29 at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Clearfield with Pastor Larry Hill officiating.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield, 16 N. Front St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
