- A protection from abuse order violation occurred at 11:05 a.m. Dec. 3 on Beechton Road in Washington Township when Randy Allan Rokosky, 52, of Wilcox entered the victim’s property. Charges were filed against the man through the district court, and the state police have obtained an arrest warrant for him. Anyone with information about Rokosky is asked to contact the DuBois-based state police at 814-371-4652.
- An incident of criminal trespass occurred at 6:25 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Tri-County Hunt Club’s leased property along Siple Road in Snyder Township. Two Levittown men and a Langhorne man unlawfully accessed the property to hunt deer. Charges were filed against all three men through the district court.
- No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 4:56 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 80 eastbound in Union Township. James H. Gilliland Jr., 26, of Curwensville was traveling at the 74.2 mile marker in the left lane. He was distracted and his truck drifted onto the north berm. The driver’s side rubbed against the guiderails along the north berm. Gilliland jerked his steering wheel rightward and away from the guiderails. His truck began sliding in a clockwise motion in the left lane. Its driver’s side wheels dug into the roadway, causing the truck to overturn and come to a rest on its roof in the left lane. Gilliland was not injured; he was wearing his seatbelt. Police were assisted by the Corsica Volunteer Fire Department.
