Thomas Wesley Gearhart, 50, of Penn Township died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born March 28, 1962 in Clearfield, he was the son of Richard and Kathryn (Rowles) Gearhart. Mr. Gearhart was employed as a diesel mechanic for Centra Trucking of Curwensville. He was affiliated with the Hepburnia United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his wife, the former Vicki Clamp, whom he wed Dec. 1, 1984 in Glen Richey. Also surviving are two sons, Thomas G. Gearhart of Curwensville and Shawn Gearhart of Allentown; three brothers and two sisters, Ray Gearhart, Mary Gearhart, Terry Gearhart and Michael Gearhart, all of Curry Run, and Kathy Leigey of Clearfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cindy Luzier.
Funeral services for Mr. Gearhart will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with the Rev. Emmett Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
