Santa Claus is Coming to Town

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Elks will bring Santa Claus to Clearfield on Dec. 1. Santa will arrive in downtown Clearfield at 11:45 a.m. by locomotive, at the intersection of West Market Street and West Second Avenue.

At 12 p.m., a small parade will escort Santa to the Clearfield Elks. Santa invites all community children to a Christmas party at the Clearfield Elks, which is located at 301 N. Second St.

The party will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Children will receive a Christmas stocking filled with presents from Santa. Hot dogs and cocoa will also be served to the children.

This year, another feature has been added to the holiday weekend. Each Christmas stocking will have a coupon to Fun Central to be used Dec. 1. Children will be treated to a slice of pizza and a soda pop while they play.

On Dec. 2 at 2 p.m., a Christmas movie matinee will be held at the Ritz Theater. The movie is free of charge and open to the public. All children will be treated to a free small popcorn and soda during the movie.
