- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday next to Stumptown Road in Decatur Township. Someone used a firearm to shoot electrical equipment that was located on a utility pole. Damage is estimated at $7,000. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident at 5:50 p.m. Friday on Long Run Road in Boggs Township. Gregory J. Guenot, 58, of West Decatur was traveling eastbound when a deer emerged from then north berm onto the roadway. The Guenot pick-up truck struck the deer and then exited the roadway and overturned onto its driver’s side. Guenot was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
