- An incident of criminal trespass occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. Thursday on Poplar Road in Jay Township when someone attempted to enter a 59-year-old Weedville woman’s residence. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 12 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Hemlock Lodge Inc. in Jones Township. Someone entered through a camp window and then removed a television and VCR before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Ridgway-based state police at 814-776-6136 or the Elk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-775-2030.
- Minor injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 1:15 p.m. Friday on the Ridgway-Johnsonburg Road in Ridgway Township. Angelo D. Mondi, 59, of Kersey was attempting to turn left onto the Ridgway-Johnsonburg Road from a private drive on the west berm. Mondi failed to observe a vehicle operated by Jacob J. Follman, 24, of Orchard Park, NY that was traveling southbound. The Mondi vehicle pulled into the path of the Follman vehicle, causing the collision. Both vehicles came to a rest in the private drive. Both Mondi and Follman were wearing their seatbelts. Mondi sustained minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
