One Jailed on Drug Charges after Traffic Stop in Lawrence Township

CLEARFIELD – One man was jailed for drug-related charges following a traffic stop at 9:38 p.m. Friday on River Road in Lawrence Township, according to the Clearfield-based state police.  

A known African-American male from Harrisburg was stopped for a traffic violation along River Road. He was apprehended for suspected DUI that was “drug-related.” Charges are currently pending toxicology results.

In addition, marijuana, cocaine and MDMA capsules were discovered in the vehicle. Kyle G. McLean, a 21-year-old African-American from Harrisburg, was arrested for drug-related charges.

McLean was arraigned and placed in the Clearfield County Jail. His bail was set at $25,000.
