Russell H. Litzinger, 71, of Clearfield, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012 in Mobile, AL.
He was born Dec. 11, 1940, in Amsbry, a son of the late Owen and Jessie (McClelland) Litzinger.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He’s survived by a brother and four sisters, Milton Litzinger and his wife, Barbara of Russell; Audrey Mosley of Oak Ridge; Charlotte Clark and her husband, Roy of Oak Ridge; Nancy Rickard of Curwensville; and Bessie Michael and her husband, Dick of LaJose.
He is also survived by a special friend, Becky Demi of Clearfield; a sister-in-law, Margaret Litzinger of Houtzdale; a brother-in-law, John Stevens of Niagara Falls, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Simon and Owen Litzinger, Thelma Stevens and infant sister, Barbara Litzinger.
Interment services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Fruit Hill Cemetery Chapel, Ansonville, with Pastor Dick Michael officiating. A funeral luncheon for family and friends will follow at the Oak Ridge Union Church, New Millport.
