Three-sport ticket package now available

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State fans will have the opportunity to top off their Thanksgiving weekend with a smorgasbord of three different events and savings of more than $50 off of the face value of tickets.

To celebrate the start of the holiday season, as well as final home, regular season events for Penn State football and women’s volleyball, fans can purchase two tickets for the three events for $139. The CeleState the Holidays ticket offer includes:

— Two tickets to men’s basketball vs. Bucknell, at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 23 
— Two tickets to football vs. Wisconsin, 3:30 p.m. Nov. 24
— Two tickets to women’s volleyball vs. Michigan State, at 8 p.m. Nov. 24

The Nittany Lion basketball team will be playing its first home game in two weeks when central Pennsylvania rival Bucknell visits the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday afternoon. The next day, Penn State Senior Day celebrations and ceremonies will be held prior to a 3:30 kickoff in Beaver Stadium and before the 8 p.m. match with the Spartans in Rec Hall. The No. 2 women’s volleyball team clinched its ninth Big Ten Championship in the past 10 years this weekend.

Fans can purchase this special ticket package by calling 800-NITTANY, through 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23. Athletic Ticketing Services will not be open on Thanksgiving Day.

Tickets ordered over the phone will be made available at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center will call windows at the Nov. 23 men’s basketball game for all three events. Any tickets not picked up Nov. 23 will be available at the Beaver Stadium will call windows starting at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 24.

Tickets for each of the three events are also available for purchase individually, but the discounted offer pertains only to the three-event package. Not all seating locations are available for the events, and seat assignments for each of the three events will be done on a first-come, first-served basis. Advanced parking can be purchased for the football and basketball games at the same time that the ticket package is purchased.
