UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Nittany Lion men’s lacrosse team announced changes to the 2013 schedule on Thursday (Nov. 15). Notable changes are a date change for the Notre Dame home game and declaring a time for the Lehigh game at PPL Park on Mar. 9. Additionally, three away games were moved to 7 p.m.
The Notre Dame home game originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23 will now be played Sunday, Feb. 24 at Noon. The matchup against the Fighting Irish will be the 17th-straight season the two sides have met.
Penn State’s game against Lehigh at Chester’s PPL Park will be played at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 9. as part of the Whitman’s Sampler Independence Classic. The event at PPL Park, home to Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union and site of the 2012 NCAA Quarterfinals, will feature a tripleheader. St. John’s and Syracuse kick-off the event at Noon before Penn and Villanova take the field at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets for the Independence Classic will go on sale Dec. 3 at Noon ET. Tickets for the day are $45 for club seats, $35 for midfield reserved and $25 for sideline reserved. Group prices of $15 for groups of 100 or more and $20 for groups of 10 or more will also be available. Parking can be purchased in advance for $15.

Three away games, originally announced as 1 p.m. starts will be played at 7 p.m. Games against Villanova (Mar. 30), Delaware (Apr. 20) and Hofstra (Apr. 27) will be played at 7 p.m.
