DUBOIS – A woman was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center after falling from the window of a third-floor apartment building at approximately 11:14 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of South Brady Street, according to the DuBois City police.
Police responded to the scene after reports that the woman had threatened to jump from her window. Upon arrival police observed the woman hanging by her hands from her third-floor window. As police were heading upstairs to her apartment, the woman let go from the ledge and fell to the ground.
When police made contact with her, the woman was conscious and complained of pain. The woman was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries and a mental health evaluation. The extent of her injuries wasn’t indicated in the police report.
Police were assisted by the DuBois City Fire Department and the Sandy Township Police Department.
