Norma L. Kalgren, 66, of Falls Creek died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Born Feb. 15, 1946 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Alma (Reitz) Bowser.
On June 8, 1974, she married Gary E. Kalgren. He survives.
She worked in the meat department at Riverside Bi-Lo for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning and her dogs.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Jo Schaffer of DuBois; Kimberly A. Andrekovich and her husband, Brian and Dawn M. Porada and her husband, Kevin, all of Punxsutawney; and Jeffrey A. Bowser of Reynoldsville.
Also surviving are two sisters, Betty Weber and her husband, Philip of Tyrone and Shirley Kerstetter and her husband, Richard of DuBois; nine grandchildren, Shelina and Shawn Schaffer; Jacob and Brianna Andrekovich; and Andra, Amanda, Ashlyanna Bowser, Alissa and Kaitlyn Puhala; and one great-grandchild, Jazzlyn Bowser.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David Bowser and her sister, Nancy Bowser.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery.
