No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday on the Rockton Mountain Highway in Union Township. Sarah R. Alicea, 28, of DuBois was traveling westbound in the right-hand lane approximately 100 feet west of Old Pike Road. A deer entered the roadway from the north hillside and into the path of the Alicea vehicle, causing her to strike the deer. She pulled her vehicle off the north berm approximately 80 feet from the point of impact. The deer was located along the south berm of the roadway.
