Marion S. Leon, 94, of DuBois died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at her home. Born Sept. 29, 1918 in Dayton, she was the daughter of the late Alojzy J. and Sara M. (Wisnewski) Oleksy.
She was married to John E. Leon, who preceded her in death Jan. 26, 1987.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Leon loved spending time with her family and enjoyed sewing and Pinochle.
She is survived by five daughters, Patronella and Robert Wingerter of Wayne; Marion and Carl Wojtaszek of Coalport; Stephanie and Jim Fragle of DuBois,; Roselyn and Gary DeJohn of Rockton; and Cynthia and Jeff Jones of Brockway; a brother, Joseph Phillips of Erie; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and infant twin sisters.
At the request of Mrs. Leon, there will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
