BRISBIN – Two people sustained moderate injuries after a two-vehicle accident at 4:05 p.m. Friday on Swoope Street in Brisbin Borough, according to the Clearfield-based state police.
Darrel L. Woods, 76, and his passenger, Joyce M. Woods, 67, both of Brisbin sustained moderate injuries. They were transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment. Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
Woods pulled out from a stop sign and failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Derek S. Stiffler, 22, of Houtzdale, causing the accident. Stiffler wasn’t injured; he was wearing his seatbelt.
Woods was cited for stop signs and yield signs. Stiffler was cited for not having a valid driver’s license.
