- No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident at 3:34 p.m. Saturday on state Route 879 in Girard Township. A 17-year-old boy was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve in the roadway. His vehicle crossed the centerline and overturned onto its roof. He was cited for roadways laned for traffic and driver’s required to be licensed. Police were assisted at the scene by the LeContes Mills Fire Company.
- A known 23-year-old man went from State College to Curwensville by taxi Friday and failed to pay for his transportation. The investigation is continuing.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred at the First Commonwealth Bank sometime Saturday or Sunday in Houtzdale Borough when someone threw eggs on the ATM machine. The investigation is continuing at this time.
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between 5 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Sunday on Baker Street in Chester Hill Borough. Someone removed two bicycles from a 29-year-old Philipsburg man’s yard. One was a black Tony Hawk Bird House, 20-inch bicycle. The other was a black, 20-inch bicycle with red and white skulls all over it.
