UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State students have an opportunity to attend the Nittany Lions’ final road game of the season Nov. 10 at No. 21 Nebraska. Students who want to attend can purchase a ticket at Gate B (northeast corner) of the Bryce Jordan Center beginning 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5.
Coach Bill O’Brien’s Nittany Lions (5-3, 3-1) visit Purdue at 3:30 p.m. Saturday for a Leaders Division clash before meeting the Cornhuskers at 2:30 p.m. CT Nov. 10. Penn State will be playing in Lincoln for the first time since 2003, but the teams began annually meeting in 2011 as Big Ten cross division rivals. The teams are meeting for the 15th time overall.
A limited number of student tickets will be made available on a first-come, first served basis for the contest at Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium. Each student will be permitted to purchase one $75 ticket and must present a valid Penn State ID+ Card to secure a ticket. All sales will be done on a cash-only basis.
If student tickets still remain after 8 a.m. Monday, the sale will move from Gate B to the Athletic Ticket Office inside the BJC. Student tickets will not be available after 4 p.m. Monday.
Public tickets for the Nebraska game are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY.
Nebraska (6-2, 3-1) visits Michigan State this Saturday before hosting Penn State.
Students wanting to purchase tickets so that they may sit together at the Nebraska game will need to make their ticket purchase together at Gate B on Monday morning. Students may arrive at the Jordan Center at 6 a.m. Monday for the sale.
Should demand dictate it, tickets will be sold through a wristband lottery. If the number of students in line by 7 a.m. exceeds the number of student tickets allocated for the Purdue game, a wristband lottery will be held. Students not in line by the time of the sale, 7 a.m., will not be included in the wristband lottery, should one be held.
Penn State students have had an opportunity to purchase tickets for every away game the Monday prior to each contest this season.
Following the Nebraska game, Penn State closes the season with home games vs. Indiana (Nov. 17) and Wisconsin (Senior Day, Nov. 24). Tickets for the contests against the Hoosiers and Badgers are available at www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets or by calling 1-800-NITTANY, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
