Lady Lion single game tickets on sale

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Single-game tickets for the defending Big Ten Champion Penn State Lady Lions are now on sale. Basketball single-game tickets are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY or by visiting the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office, GoPSUsports.com/tickets or Ticketmaster.

Single-game tickets for the Lady Lions are $15 and $12 for adults and seniors, $9 and $7 for youth (12 and under) and free for Penn State students. Additionally, parking for Penn State Basketball games this season will be $5 per game. The Lady Lions will have 15 home games in the 2012-13 season, beginning with an exhibition game against former Lady Lion Jess Strom and the California (Pa.) Vulcans on Sat., Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. as part of a women’s-men’s doubleheader.

Penn State also offers special basketball group ticket rates for groups of 15 fans or more. Lady Lion group rates are $8 for adults and $5 for youth.

The PNC Flex Books are available again this year for $99. The Flex Book gives fans 12 vouchers, 10 that can be redeemed in any combination for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets throughout the year and two extra vouchers for the Nittany Lions’ Coaches vs. Cancer game and the Lady Lions’ Pink Zone game.

Lady Lion Basketball season tickets are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Season tickets are $99 for adults, including a season parking pass (a $75 value), and $50 for youth (12 and under), this includes a Nittany Lion Kids Club Membership for 2012-13.

The Lady Lions have also announced their promotional schedule for the 2012-13 season. Below are some of the highlights of the home schedule.

Saturday, Nov. 3 – California (Pa.) (2 p.m.)

  • Doubleheader with men’s basketball (vs. Philadelphia U. at 4 p.m.)
  • $5 general admission ticket

    Sunday, Nov. 11 – Howard (2 p.m.)

  • Military Appreciation Day – Show your military ID and get four (4) free tickets, each additional ticket will be $5.
  • Subway Full Court 4 Pack – Four tickets, one voucher for four 6" subs and four 21 oz. fountain drinks at any of the seven State College Subway locations for just $40
  • Big Ten Championship Banner Giveaway (while supplies last)

    The 2013 Pink Zone at Penn State will take place on Sunday, Feb. 24 as the Lady Lions take on Michigan in the Bryce Jordan Center. Last year, the Lady Lions donated a record $203,000 to breast cancer causes. This year’s fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, J.C.
