CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) advises drivers that several state roads remain closed in Central/North Central Pennsylvania due to weather issues caused by Hurricane Sandy.
PennDOT District 2 covers Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Juniata, McKean, Mifflin and Potter counties. As of 12:30 p.m., the list of road closings in District 2 includes:
Centre County:
State Route 2007 (Brush Mountain Road) from Green Grove Road to Grenoble Road. Closed for downed utility.
Clearfield County:
State Route 1003 (Mount Zion Road) from Evergreen Drive to Cavalry Road.
Closed for downed tree.
Clinton County:
State Route 144 in Leidy Township from Steward Hill Road to Kettle Creek Road. Closed for downed utility.
State Route 2022 from Shade Hollow Road to Little Sugar Run Road. Closed for downed utility.
Juniata County:
State Route 3023 (Pumping Station Road) from Campbell Hollow Road to Berry Ridge Road. Closed for downed tree.
Mifflin County:
State Route 2008 (Whiskey Road/Samuels Church Road/Mail Pouch Road) from Solt Lane to Whiskey Road Extension. Closed for downed utility.
State Route 4006 (Back Mountain Road) from Woodland Road to Tea Creek Road. Closed for downed tree with live wires.
State Route 103 in Wayne Township from Bridge Street to Sugar Valley Road. Closed due to flooding from high river water.

re-open.
