Man Flown to Altoona after Pike Township Accident

PIKE TOWNSHIP – One man was flown to the Altoona Hospital following a single-vehicle accident at 3:30 p.m. Friday on the Curwensville-Tyrone Highway in Pike Township, according to the Clearfield-based state police.

Bradley J. Robbins, 23, of Olanta was traveling northbound when for unknown reasons, his pick-up truck traveled off the right berm. It struck an embankment and then collided with a tree.

Robbins wasn’t wearing his seatbelt. He sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident and was flown to the Altoona Hospital. He was cited for careless driving and restraint systems. The Robbins vehicle was towed from the scene.
